Boys in Grades 3-7 travelled to the Bear Mountain Trailside Zoo. The students walked along a paved section of the Appalachian Trail where they were able to observe many native animals such as a black bear, beaver, peregrine falcon, porcupine, swan, and many more. They were also given a tour of the historical museum which had interesting information on the Revolutionary War.
