Parents interested in the Hawthorn School are invited to arrange a visit to our campus, which can be booked using the calendar here.

Tours take place Monday-Friday between the hours of 1pm and 2pm, and other times upon request. Email admissions@thehawthornschool.com with your availability.

Students interested in attending Hawthorn should schedule a shadow day, when they can meet our outstanding faculty and experience our unique educational model.

Shadow days are generally available Monday-Friday of each week when classes are in session. Details about the shadow day are available upon request.

To begin the application:

1. Create an Account on the FACTS platform or login here (District Code: HAW-NY)

2. Once you are logged in, Create A New Student Application for your child. If you are applying for multiple students, we recommend you complete the first application in its entirety so that subsequent applications will auto populate with information from the previous. There is a FACTS application fee of $20 (non-refundable).

3. Be sure to fully submit the application. After imputing your electronic signature, you will be asked to review your information. The application is not submitted until after you review your information and press submit.

The family interview (~45 minutes) consists of conversations with both child and parents, as well as a brief reading and math exercise.
