Students celebrated the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker. The day began with Mass and a school-wide Rosary led by students, followed by field day games and pizza lunch. All gathered in the gym for the poetry and singing competition, and the following prizes were awarded.
For the singing competition, Blue Ribbon recognition went to the 1st Grade, the 2nd Grade Girls and the Middle School Girls, with an honorable mention to the 4th-5th Grade Boys.
For the poetry competition, the following students were recognized for their exceptional recitations: James Balaj (Grade 1), Dean Sullivan (Grade 2), and Oona Archuleta (Grade 5).
Students also submitted their original drawings of St. Joseph and the following students received Blue Ribbons for their work: Jojo Horsting (Kindergarten), Elise Macalintal (1st Grade), Corinne Pidel (Middle School), and Tim Laclavik (Middle School).
Finally, the awards for the “Best Dressed Class” were presented to the Preschool, 2nd Grade Girls, and the 3rd grade boys.
