Hawthorn Guest: A Conversation with Sohrab Ahmari

On Tuesday, May 7th, The Hawthorn School was proud to welcome Sohrab Ahmari, an Iranian-American columnist, editor, and author, who delivered an engaging lecture to a crowd of over 40 guests at the Bedford Historical Hall.

His talk, entitled "Should You Think for Yourself?", drew from his 2021 book The Unbroken Thread and explored what it means to remain faithful to one’s conscience, with thoughtful references to the life and writings of Saint John Henry Newman.

It was an enriching evening marked by deep reflection, thought-provoking questions, and a shared appreciation for the pursuit of truth. For those who couldn't attend, you can listen to her talk here.
