Hawthorn Parents Guild

The mission of the Parents Guild is to support the Hawthorn School and its broader mission. We do this by engaging parents in friendship and volunteer opportunities, supporting teacher and faculty needs, gathering resources for the school, and promoting Hawthorn as community ambassadors. We invite all parents — as students’ primary and most important educators — to be engaged stewards of the Hawthorn School through the Parents Guild.

Three Pillars of the Hawthorn Parents Guild: Engage, Support, Promote

Engage

Help ensure parents are involved to the extent they want and in the various ways they want.

Support

Assist teachers and faculty as needed, allowing them to focus more on core responsibilities.

Promote

Act as liaisons to outside community organizations and businesses; supplement PR and marketing.

HPG is vehicle for parents to support our school in a variety of ways.

We aim to support our school through volunteerism, ideation, and community.
