On Tuesday, November 21st grades 3-8 traveled to Ridgefield’s Keeler Tavern Museum and History Center. The students learned about the tavern’s function during colonial times and saw the cannonball still lodged in the house. They also enjoyed several hands-on activities, like writing with ink and quill, embroidery, and sachet making, giving them a sense of daily life in 18th-century Ridgefield.
