On Friday, January 27th, Hawthorn students laced up their skates and hit the ice to practice their camel spins and butterfly jumps. Everyone, whether Olympic hopefuls or absolute novices, enjoyed a field trip to the local ice rink. The rookies began tentatively, but within thirty minutes everyone was venturing away from the boards and gliding, or even racing along!
