All classes gathered in the main hall to commemorate the Feast of the Epiphany on Friday, January 6th. Dr. McCleary read the story of the journey of the Magi from Mathew’s gospel, and students took turns pointing out the relevant features of the Nativity scene in the main hall. One student explained why one of the kings had removed his crown, and another pointed out that King Herod would not be happy with the turn of events. Another commented that epiphany means “being shown something you hadn’t seen before.''Then everyone joined in singing We Three Kings of Orient Are. The celebration concluded with the enjoyment of Christmas candy, which was available in abundance!
