On March 21, Hawthorn students visited The Bush-Holley House in Cos Cob, CT where they learned about Impressionism, observed artwork made by the Cos Cob art colony, and created their own pieces in the Impressionist style. Docents from the Greenwich Historical Society fostered discussion on the influence of history and technology on art, and students noticed how the style of the Cos Cob colony developed over time.
